Fully tested logic board for the DVD-ROM equipped (400MHz) Bronze Keyboard (Lombard) PowerBook G3. Unlike the logic board on the 33MHz model, this version has an on-board DVD decoder allowing it to play DVDs. It will also work with the CD-ROM module that shipped with the 333MHz version.
The logic board does not contain the processor which is on a separate daughter card. Although it only shipped with the 400MHz model, this logic board can be used in the 333MHz model allowing it to play DVDs.
The Lombard can be identified easily in that they are the only G3 PowerBooks that have USB ports but NO FireWire ports.
